Pumpkin Farm 2009

We found a new pumpkin farm this year that just opened the beginning of October. Rhodes Family Farm in Worden. It was very nice, and kind of felt like a secret. $5.00 per person to get in, but all of the festivities they have are included in that price...no tickets and such to mess with!
The girls (and Papa) enjoy the maze.

Here they are on top of giant hay bales.

Duck Races with old fashioned water pumps.

Giant Tire Swings

One very fun giant slide! We spent quite a bit of time here.

Brittney is a great helper with Bella.

Look at the exciteement on their faces!

Brie and Bells running back up the hill to get to the top again.

Bella wanted to "do it self" something we are becoming quite familiar with right now!

They also had a very fun zip line - the big girls loved it!!

They also had animals....chickens, which liked to fly out of their coop.

Goats, here Bella is telling the goat to "Stop it!", it was trying to eat her coat and she was not amused!

Feeding the 3 little pigs...

The Barrel Ride...

Again, Bella wanted to "do it self," against her Mommy's better judgement.

Getting the girls to pose for pictures is not amusing, and our patience was pretty shot by this point in the day. Somehow we snapped a pretty decent picture of them though. My girls thought a better use of their time was chasing after the dirty farm cats that were running around. Unfortunately it started to rain before we could take the hay ride out to the pumpkin fields. Good thing we had stocked up on the great $1.99 pumpkins that Aldi was selling a couple of weekends before!

Happy Fall!!
